The Jacob Grey AR-15 7.5″ heavy parkerized 7.62×39 barrel has a Pistol length gas system with a 1:10 twist rate. Our 7.62×39 parkerized rifle barrels are made from the finest 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium and precisely rifled for high accuracy. They are then hardened and stress relieved to withstand the effect an AK round can give a barrel. All finished barrels go through a 100% inspection process. Inspection’s equipment includes CMMs and Air Gauges for the bores as well as visual and machine inspection.

**Jacob Grey recommends an enhanced firing pin and Winchester 123gr ammunition with our 7.62×39 barrels. H3 Buffers and heavy-duty bolt extractors are also recommended in any AR-platform rifle firing this round.
