Inside Jacob Grey
Aerospace discipline. A lifelong obsession with firearms. Complete control from the first cut through the final test.
The Jacob Grey Standard
Jacob Grey firearms are engineered, machined, built, inspected and tested under one roof. That level of control lets us pursue tighter tolerances, stronger construction and the dependable performance our owners expect every time they press the trigger.
Our aerospace and defense manufacturing experience shaped a culture where precision, repeatability and accountability are nonnegotiable.
Design, engineering, machining, finishing and assembly happen in-house, giving our team control over the details that define the finished firearm.
Each firearm is individually assembled, inspected and tested before it earns the Jacob Grey name.
Where It Started
Jacob Grey did not begin as a marketing concept. It grew from decades spent learning machines, building firearms and proving that demanding work can be done without compromise.
Jacob Grey began building custom 1911 pistols, combining a lifelong passion for firearms with generations of machining knowledge.
He founded an aerospace machine shop specializing in close-tolerance components and difficult materials for demanding customers.
That same discipline now drives a complete line of firearms built for owners who expect precision, reliability and confidence.
Under One Roof
We keep the critical work close. Our team designs, engineers, machines, finishes and assembles our firearms in-house, maintaining control from the first operation through final inspection.
Primary firearm components begin as billet material and are precision machined for strength, durability and dimensional consistency. The result is a deliberate fit and feel that mass-production shortcuts cannot replicate.
The People Behind the Standard
Experience on the manufacturing floor and in the firearms industry guides every decision we make.
Founder & CEO
A third-generation machinist, Jacob began learning to weld and operate CNC equipment at nine years old. His background in custom firearms and close-tolerance aerospace manufacturing established the standard that still defines the company.
President
Todd leads the growth of the Jacob Grey brand, bringing extensive firearms-industry experience and a track record of building strong dealer, distributor and customer relationships.
What Grounds Us
Jacob Grey is built around a family-like culture where professional goals, personal victories and difficult moments are shared. We take pride in the work, stand behind one another and hold ourselves accountable to the people who trust what we build.
