Step-by-step installation
Five steps. Zero shortcuts.
Follow the sequence carefully. Incorrect hardware, a twisted T-nut, or excess torque can damage the mounting system.
Select the correct plate.
Match the adapter plate to the footprint of your specific red-dot sight. Use the official hardware matrix in the downloadable guide to confirm fitment.
Test-fit the optic to the plate before attaching the plate to the slide.
Seat the T-nut.
Place the T-nut into the machined pocket on the underside of the optic adapter plate.
Do not insert any screws yet. Confirm that the T-nut sits fully and squarely inside the pocket.

RMR plate warning
The RMR plate is wider than the slide, allowing
the T-nut to twist during installation. A T-nut
that is not correctly seated can deform, fail,
or prevent the fastener from reaching proper torque.
Attach the plate to the slide.
Use the 4-40 x .250 FH fasteners from the bag marked with the orange dot . These fasteners are specifically for attaching the plate to the slide.
Apply a small amount of Blue Loctite®, then torque the plate fasteners to 12 in-lbs.

Do not over-torque
Over-tightening can shear fasteners, damage
threads, or compromise the mounting system.
Mount the optic.
When the plate is installed correctly, the T-nuts will protrude through the top of the plate. This is normal.
Align the optic with the T-nuts and indexing posts. Use the fasteners specified for your optic in the official hardware matrix.
Start each fastener slowly by hand to verify thread engagement and T-nut alignment. Apply a small amount of Blue Loctite®, then torque the optic fasteners to 12–15 in-lbs.
