the most confusing part for you. Your kit includes a
modified Type A FLEX insert configured specifically for compatible
Jacob Grey handguns.

Standard DAA FLEX holsters require you to determine which insert system fits your pistol and then configure the insert yourself. We've done that work for Jacob Grey owners. Your FLEX arrives with the correct modified Type A insert included and configured for our compatible platforms.

Unlike the polymer-bodied FLEX Air, the standard FLEX uses a fully CNC-machined aluminum holster body. The rigid chassis gives the FLEX its premium feel while providing an extremely solid platform for competition use.

18mm Ball-Joint Adjustment
The large ball joint provides a broad range of holster tilt and cant adjustment with a secure M6 clamp and rigid lockup.
Rail Height Adjustment
A precision-machined dovetail rail allows substantial vertical positioning using a simple single-screw lock and release system.
Forward / Rearward Hanger Tilt
Unique to the premium FLEX hanger, the lower hanger assembly can be positioned vertically or tilted forward or rearward in incremental steps for improved ergonomics and thigh-pad positioning.
Quick-Detach Belt Hanger
Remove the lower holster assembly from the belt with a single screw while retaining your established positional settings — especially useful when traveling with a competition rig.
Patented Adjustable FLEX Insert
Adjustable slide-lock teeth, spacers and shims allow precise tuning of the insert to the pistol's trigger guard geometry and desired fit.
1.5-Inch Competition Belt Ready
Designed around standard 1.5-inch competition belts and compatible with systems such as DAA's LYNX and Premium competition belts.

The FLEX represents the continued evolution of Double Alpha Academy's
competition race holster platform. Building on the Alpha-X architecture,
it combines a fully CNC-machined aluminum chassis with DAA's patented FLEX
insert system, extensive positional adjustment and a detachable hanger
designed for serious competition use.
Jacob Grey makes the system simpler. Instead of selecting from generic insert
configurations and determining fitment yourself, we've configured the FLEX
specifically around our compatible pistols. Select your preferred holster
configuration, fine-tune the position and retention to your preference,
and build your competition rig.

Important Safety Information
Proper setup of the FLEX insert is critical. Before live-fire use, thoroughly
verify fit, retention, release and trigger clearance using an unloaded firearm.
Keep fingers clear of the trigger while holstering and drawing. During normal
loaded use, engage the firearm's manual safety before holstering and do not
disengage it until the firearm is clear of the holster and pointed safely
downrange. Recheck holster fit after any firearm modification.
Incorrect insert adjustment may allow unintended contact with the firearm's
trigger. The user is responsible for ensuring the holster is correctly and
safely configured before use.
